E.P.V. (Importação e Comércio de Cafés, Lda) is an official representative of Musetti Caffe in Portugal. Their business model focuses on the distribution of Musetti products across both the B2C (home) and B2B (commercial) sectors.
Brand Alignment & Design Strategy
The primary requirement for this project was strict adherence to international brand standards. Because E.P.V. operates as a regional representative, the digital presence needed to be an extension of the parent company’s identity.
- Visual Identity: The website’s UI was developed using the official color palette provided by Musetti S.P.A. to ensure global brand recognition.
- Structural Benchmarking: Following the client’s request and Musetti’s recommendations, I modeled the site’s architecture after an approved international reseller. This ensured the project met the high-level design and UX standards expected by the parent company.
Technical Implementation
I developed the platform using WordPress and WooCommerce, creating a robust e-commerce environment capable of handling high-volume product catalogs. The setup was optimized to:
- Showcase the premium nature of the Musetti brand.
- Provide a seamless shopping experience for both individual consumers and retail partners.
- Ensure easy inventory and order management for the E.P.V. team.
Training and Project Handover
To ensure the client could manage their inventory and content independently, I provided a comprehensive handover package:
- Direct Training: Conducted a detailed video call walkthrough covering the day-to-day operations of the WooCommerce backend.
- Custom Reference Manual: I authored a tailored PDF guide documenting all processes discussed during the training, ensuring the E.P.V. team had a permanent internal resource for site maintenance.
