Crafting Web Experiences

WordPress Website for a Professional School

EPNH Website

Commissioned by an educator to overhaul an outdated legacy site, this project involved a complete rebuild aimed at improving responsiveness and administrative efficiency. The goal was to provide a modern, professional interface that the client could manage independently.

Design & User Experience

  • Visual Continuity: To maintain brand recognition, I preserved the institution’s original color scheme while updating the typography and layout to meet contemporary web standards.
  • Responsive Architecture: Built with Elementor, the site was optimized for full cross-device compatibility, ensuring students and staff can access information seamlessly from desktops, tablets, or smartphones.
  • Client Autonomy: By utilizing WordPress as the core CMS, I empowered the client to handle day-to-day updates without requiring further technical intervention.

Key Functionalities & Workflows

To centralize school operations, I integrated several custom modules and interactive forms:

  • Academic Showcase: Dedicated sections for the school’s curriculum, course catalog, and ongoing EU-funded projects.
  • Multimedia & Engagement: A dynamic photo gallery and a news blog to keep the community updated on school activities.
  • Enrollment Management: A streamlined registration system that allows students to enroll in new courses or renew their current status digitally.
  • Recruitment & Partnerships: I developed specialized logic for two distinct employment streams:
    1. A general application portal for positions with the school’s network of corporate partners.
    2. A dedicated recruitment form for external trainers looking to join the faculty.

The Result

The transition from a static legacy site to a functional WordPress platform transformed the school’s digital presence. It moved beyond a simple informational page into a practical tool that automates enrollment and recruitment, significantly reducing the administrative workload for the school’s staff.
